Sections produced on roll sets commissioned to achieve tolerances as close as 0.05mm to large profiles that can allow as much as a 2mm variation. Cut-offs Many cut-off blades can be designed. Many designs already exist for various types of scissor action and slug-producing blades. Low cost variants exist for minimum replacement blade cost. Difficult sections with closed profiles and intricate semi-closed profiles have been produced successfully. Section properties Many industries require that profiles meet certain stiffness standards which means the production of section properties. These can be supplied quickly and cheaply. Also, section shapes and material gauges can be manipulated quickly by making minor design changes and using feedback from the section properties enables the engineer to arrive at sections that meet the standards without undue waste of material.
